SlickLabs is the brain child of strategist Rob Slater. After serving in the military conducting top secret research in “skunk labs” across the world, Rob wanted to bring the methodology he developed during that time and help companies in the public sector tackle and win against some of their toughest innovation challenges. Christopher & Mae was engaged to re-think his brand presence and create a logo and website that embodied his detailed approach to innovation.
Christopher & Mae began with first breaking down the elements of innovation.
A key part of innovation is introspection. Looking yourself in the mirror and assessing your strengths as well as your weaknesses. Given this consistent look at self, we created a reflective inspired mark by offsetting two semi-circles with an underscore to emphasize the importance of this crucial element.
Once the logo was developed, Christopher & Mae turned it’s attention toward creating a simple yet expandable digital property that could support the expanding solutions and designs of Slicklabs.
